This Rollator and Transit Chair Combination has an innovative design which allows it to be used as either a rollator or a short trip transport chair, allowing the user to walk themselves with the support of the rollator or be pushed by a carer in the transit chair if they need a break. The rollators height adjustable handles are very easy to alter and have a good wide height range, allowing the user to set them at the perfect height for maximum comfort and support. The handles have non slip hand grips and are fitted with very efficient cable brakes that are operated with loop handled levers, ideal for those who suffer from arthritic joints. The well sized, padded seat and additional back rest, provide real comfort for the user when sitting, and a very handy carry basket, mounted under the seat is ideal for small amounts of shopping or keeping those essential little personal items close at hand. To use as a transit chair simply flip down the sturdy footrests and use the hand grips on the pushbar, for additional user safety the Rollator and Transit Chair Combination is also supplied with a lap belt. Suitable for both indoor and outdoor use, and fitted with large 200mm (8″) diameter wheels that make it very easy for the user to control and manoeuvre, the rollator has a very simple folding action that allows it be quickly folded up for convenient storage or transport if required.
